Ariel Gail

Professor Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. She also serves as the head of the Center for Public Policy Research. She has been widely recognized as a pioneer in the field of child witnesses and eyewitness memories in the legal setting. Prof. Goodman has published numerous papers as well as received numerous grants. She has also received several international and national awards. She has worked with various government agencies and governments across the world on policies and research concerning child victims in the legal system. She currently acts as a advisor to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center at Sacramento County Child Protective Services (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center). She is a member of several professional associations which include those of the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. She served as the head of the The American Psychological Association's 3 divisions, Division American Psychology Law Society, Division Developmental Psychology and Division Society for Family and Child policy and practice.
